About

Colin Saltry is Pennsylvania, through and through…

Born in Scranton, he's lived the Electric City's ethos from the start.  Hard working and hardscrabble, Scranton left its mark on him; imbuing him with a sense of empathy, a passion for service, and a commitment to fairness that is bone-deep.

He moved to Philadelphia to study at Temple University, where he fell in love with the school, the city, and its people. He served as Temple's Student Body President and later went on to study law as a night student at Temple's James E. Beasley School of Law.

Today, he works as a civil rights attorney where he proudly represents individuals and small business in labor and employment matters in state and federal courts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. As Democratic Committee Person in Philadelphia’s 18th Ward, Colin is a resource for his neighbors and an advocate for quality of life issues affecting his community.

He started Live Your Truth in 2016 to honor his coming out and the courage we all embody when we express our true selves. .
